Legos, Tee Ball and Field Trips

Tyler and Kamron have been playing with their Legos non stop. They have built some pretty neat things. They took these pictures and wanted me to share:

This is their base. They have 4 of the star wars "walkers" and they battle.

That is alot of star wars men! LOL

This picture needed to be turned. I didn't realize it until it was to late. sorry

Addyson and 2 of her friends today at their first Tee ball 's game. WE FROZE! I thought it was MAY! IT was in the 40's with freezing wind!! Poor babies froze (the boys and I froze too!)

Addyson had just scored and saw me with the camera! I love this picture!!

Instead of doing what she was supposed to, Addyson was jumping and dancing in the outfield. I can't believe I got her in the air!! LOL These kids were so funny!

Addyson up to bat! Kamron took this picture for me while I used the Video camera. Thanks Kam! The boys decided to not play baseball this year. We didn't force them and so far they have not regreted the decision!

Last Monday, 2 days before ALL field trips across county lines were banned, I went with Addyson on her field trip. We had a really great time. Here is Addyson's class (minus a couple) with her teacher, Mrs. King

The rock wall was the favorite of all the kids! Thankfully no one got hurt.

Addyson watching the bubbles race.

Driving the race car!!

These little girls were dancing! They were sooo funny!

The three amigos for the day!

Addyson and Jessie inside the big mouth!

Such a hard day! They slept almost the whole hour on the bus on the way home!!

The boys were supposed to have their field trip on Thursday but it was cancelled. They were very disappointed but their teachers made the day so special! They deaded to the park with jump houses and candy. Tyler had to cut the day short because he ended up with the stomach bug...YUCK. Thankfully, no one else has got it yet!

I know, I know, it has been too long...

It has been crazy around here and I have been falling way behind on blogging. I have lots of pictures to share and will have small captions with each picture. (It is really bad when you get scolded by your mom for not blogging!! LOL)

Addyson and I had a chance to go see "Annie" the broadway play with our best friends here in Muleshoe. It was a GREAT day!! We had such a good time.

The 3 amigo's being really silly with their booster chairs waiting on going into the show.

Addyson, Tobin and Riley

Before Addyson and I saw Annie, we both got pedicures. We went to a place in Lubbock that had small Spa chairs. She LOVED it!! It was so fun! She has asked many more times about going again. I have created a monster!

She watched Alice in Wonderland during her pedicure.

While Addyson and I had fun at Annie and getting pedicures, Todd and the boys froze their hiney's off camping in freezing weather at Post. It is nice we each have our own version of fun. LOL Here is a picture of the group before heading home that Sunday morning. (It was REALLLLLY COLD)

Todd took our boys and 4 more with him.

It was a camp for Boy scouts and they are only 2nd year Webelos. They had a great time and saw what they get to do next year as Boy Scouts.

They even pitched their own tent, cooked their own food and washed their own dishes!

Here they are when they first arrived at Post. They were still full of energy.

Over Easter we traveled to Mansfield and visited Tamora and Nathan and the girls and Dain and Chrissy met us there too. Mom and dad came down ealry Friday morning. It was so nice to all be together! Todd made all the kids, including Dain, a marshmellow shooter that shot nerf bullets. We were all targets. I have a nice picture that I am not going to share of my chest/neck with a big welp from my loving husband shooting me! Here is Chrissy and the little girls. It is such a shame that the kids don't like Dain and Chrissy! LOL

Hunting eggs. Some had money in them!

READY, SET, HUNT!!!
Dain and Todd helped the kids color eggs while us girls went shopping one afternoon! You two guys are the BEST!!!

How sad is this picture! We all brought our lap tops and Check out the barbie laptop the little girls were playing on. Webkins is so much more fun when you have a friend online! LOL

Easter morning with Memaw. Look how nice they look!
Easter morning with Papaw. The kids were so tired of pictures by this point.
I have finally started sewing again. I made this about a month ago for Addyson...

I made this on Saturday, (The picture was taken with my phone, sorry it is blurry)

And this, Addyson's little best friend has a matching one and cousin Kierstyn is getting one for her birthday as well. I have also made Addyson's birthday outfit, but I don't have a picture yet. Sorry mom!

SWINE Flu..............Field trips are cancelled, no travel outside of the district, kids are disappointed, WASH, WASH, WASH your hands!!!

Prayers Please

I know I have not updated in a while, and I have lots of pictures and fun things to share, but right now my heart is breaking. Yesterday a precious 5 year old lost his life. I can't imagine the pain his family is going through right now. He was my mom and dad's next door neighbor. Addyson and Braeden were 3 weeks apart in age and have grown up playing in the front yard together. 4 years ago he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He has gone through numerous surgeries and chemotherapy and was doing wonderful. Yesterday during his therapy riding horses for Hippo therapy he fell from his horse and hit his head. A fall that would not of normally been fatal, killed this precious child. He was their life. He was their only child and since he had been sick, he was their whole life. PLEASE be in prayer for this family. My mom and I will attend the funeral on Saturday. Pray for us too.

Proud mom!

We had the boys birthday party on Friday night. It was the night of the BLIZZARD. We had planned to go to Clovis to a movie and out to eat, but when the wind and snow came down, we quickly aborted that idea. Todd went to our local lumber store and bought supplies for all the boys to make their own "marshmellow shooter" AKA nerf bullet shooter. I think the boys shot them for 11 hours straight before Todd took them away at 2 am so they could get a little sleep. I do not think they even slept at that time. We have over 300 nerf bullets in the house from all of the various guns over the years. At one point, I was sitting in my chair being used as a shield. I had my newly bought "Twilight" DVD case as a shield from the hundreds of bullets flying through the house. After a few boys got hit in the eye, they all began wearing protective goggles. Big lesson learned. I think all the boys had a super time and they were very tired on Saturday!

I tried to get the bullets in mid air and got three! One of these bullets got stuck in the light fixture of the fan!
While Kamron and Tyler had their sleep over, Addyson got to go to a sleep over too. They made tie-dye shirts and played with Katelyn's little puppies. Addyson had a blast! She wanted to come home with a puppy, but mommy said said "No" on that one. She did wake up this morning saying she dreamt about the puppies. She is still trying to get one!

Kamron sang at church this morning. He was so nervous this morning. The last time he sang he wasn't nervous at all, but today was a little different. Todd went up with him and he sang the song, with tears in his eyes. He had 1/2 the congregation in tears when it was all over and a standing ovation! I was proud! I videoed while he was singing and this picture is of our wonderful pastor talking to him after he sang.
After church today, both sets of grandparents were here and we had a great lunch and the boys got to open presents from Nana and Grandear and Memaw and Papaw.

The boys got really neat Star Wars kites from my mom and dad and some much needed summer clothes. The boys got money from Nana and Grandear and were THRILLED!! Uncle Dain and aunt Chrissy sent them a new Wii game. They have played it non stop! Thanks again, they loved it!

Here is my hair over my birthday, see my new video camera! The boys have been dying for me to show my new hair. So here is the before picture:

And me as a blonde!! My idea of light highlights and my hairdresser's idea of light highlights was a little different. It is growing on me and mom told me today that it makes me look younger, so that is always a plus! LOL

Miss Addyson, I took her to the Dr this past Thursday in a little panic. On Wed when I got her out of the bath I noticed her entire lower half of her body was crooked. Horrifyingly crooked. It was so noticeable I could not believe that I had never noticed it before. Todd became extremely worried and I called first thing Thursday and got her in that afternoon. I really thought she had scolosis. Even though her back was straight, that was all I could think of. Well, it is not scolosis. Her right leg is 2 1/2 cm shorter than her left leg. It is about an inch. Who knows why, but of all the things that it could of been, we will take this. We see the Pediatric orthapedic doctor on Thursday April 9th as we head to Dallas for Easter. Keep our little princess in your prayers that this will indeed be "nothing" or as close to nothing as possible!

9 more weeks of school! We are counting down the days. (60 including weekends, 41 actual school days!) We are ready for summer. Everyone has spring fever!!!
